Caption: USAID partner, Save the Children, is working with community leaders to identify projects, both large and small, that will benefit the local community, including this Kindergarten rehabilitation project in the Abu Khaseeb district of Basra, Iraq. An Iraqi worker applies a mud and straw mixture to the roof of the kindergarten which would not support heavier cement re-inforcement. The project was funded by a grant from USAID and contributions from the community.
