USAID to aid in refurbishing Iraqi media network and computer center
An Iraqi studio technician, formerly an unemployed engineer and graduate of Baghdad University, tests equipment in the Iraqi Meida Network studio in central Baghdad. The network has been broadcasting independent TV since 12 May, 2003 for an average of 3 hours a day. USAID is funding refurbishment of facilities and supply of air conditioning, telecommunications and office equipment.
