Political Retreat in Labe The NDI-organized political retreat attracted women from all parts of Labe Province. USAID teamed up with the National Democratic Institute to organize a political retreat in Labe,Guinea. The two-day workshop drew 50 women from 12 different political parties. The workshop inspired women to seriously consider running for office. As part of the workshop women practiced political skills with an NDI trainer. As part of the training women introduced themselves to other participants as though campaigning for office.
