Request for Proposal (RFP): Artisanal Gold Mining - Environmental Impact Reduction Program

The United States Government, as represented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Colombia, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a five-year activity to support the Government of Colombia (GOC) in reducing the environmental impacts of small scale gold mining, with special emphasis on eliminating the use of mercury, and recuperating degraded areas left by gold mining.

Request for Proposal (RFP): Rural Financial Services Project

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Colombia is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on early January, 2015 for an anticipated five-year cost plus fixed-fee contract in the range of USD $20 – $23 Million that will improve inclusive financial intermediation in selected conflictive areas to promote the provision of market-based rural financial services for micro, small and medium size producers and businesses. The Mission will hold a bidders conference on January 27, 2015 at the TRYP Hotel in Bogota, Av. Calle 24 No. 51-41​ at 8:00 a.m.

The United States Government, as represented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Colombia, is seeking assistance for a four-year activity to strengthen the capacity and accountability of Colombian civil society organizations and enable them to achieve effective development results. This will be accomplished by: 1) strengthening the organizational capacity of civil society organizations, and 2) enabling Colombian civil society organizations to effectively advocate, monitor, and provide services.
