Small Business Outreach Events

The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) staff is committed to assisting small businesses in their pursuit of contracts. Our sponsored outreach activities will help you learn about our mission, opportunities, partners, and how we conduct business.

We offer Vendor Outreach Sessions (VOS) that are specific to small businesses in the Information Technology field, as well as sessions for businesses in all other fields. We also offer webinar sessions for businesses that are interested in our Mentor Protégé Program.

We post VOS notices on the Federal Business Opportunities web page (www.fbo.gov) to notify the public when our outreach events are scheduled.  All interested parties must register for each activity according the instructions posted with each announcement.  The following is a list of VOS dates for fiscal year 2013:

  • January 23rd, A look at the Year Ahead
  • February 27th
  • March 28th
  • May 22nd
  • July 24th
  • August 28th
  • September 25th

The above activities’ registration information will be posted on FBO 4-6 weeks prior to the event.  The registration will remain open until we have reached the seating capacity for the conference room.
