Mentor/Protégé Program

As you prepare your submission package for the January 30, 2012 through June 30, 2012 submission period, be sure to carefully read the Mentor Protégé Program (MPP) Guidebook, the Mentor Protégé Agreement (MPA) Package Template, the MPA Template, and the Frequently Asked Questions web page.

The purpose of USAID’s Mentor Protégé Program is to provide developmental assistance to Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Woman Owned Small Businesses, and Small Businesses that have obtained certification in the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) program. The intent of the developmental assistance is to enhance the capabilities of the protégé firms to perform as prime contractors and subcontractors on USAID procurements.

Submission packages can be submitted via e-mailed or as a hardcopy (with an accompanied compact disk saved in pdf format). No sensitive information is to be provided via email. The submissions shall be formatted as specified by the MPA Package Template. Send email submissions to Mentor-Protege@usaid.gov. Hardcopy submission are to be mailed to:
