The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is pleased to announce the opening ceremony of the Medical Point Rehabilitation project to take place in Shakhnazarli village of Devechi district on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 11:00. All media representatives are invited to the event.
The Community Development Activity project, implemented by USAID’s partner CHF International (CHF), will improve medical services for more than 1250 Shakhnazarli residents, as well as citizens of neighboring communities.
The Community Development Council of Shakhnazarli identified this medical point rehabilitation project as a priority for their community, as their old medical facility was severely damaged in the 2000 earthquake. CHF and partner UMID HSSC, along with the Executive Power of Devechi district and Shakhnazarli municipality, worked closely together to coordinate project implementation.
