Welcome to USAID/Angola
The staff of USAID/Angola is thrilled to welcome you to our Web site! We hope that here you will discover more about our work and about the wonderful country of Angola.
Recently emerging from 27 years of civil war, Angola has made great strides in securing peace and stability for its people. However, the problems that the country faces are profound and, while Angola is on a positive trend line, it will take considerable time and effort to overcome them.
Here at USAID/Angola, we have a passion for helping Angola develop to its tremendous potential. We accomplish this through programs that promote stability, good governance, economic opportunity, and access to health services and electricity. We are excited about the progress being made in Angola and hope you will join us in our interest in this country.
