NESDA Web Site

A collaborative project with USAID/AfricaLink. NESDA’s new information program has the objective of increasing accessibility to and appropriate use of environmental management information. The program’s major component will be the development of a new Web site. The initiative is part of the effort to build awareness of NESDA activities, constituency and mandate, and will provide African experts with a forum for information exchange, develop a common data system with Network members and foster national and regional co-operation.

The NESDA Web Site will be the major marketing/public relation tool and will contribute to give visibility to NESDA. We seek to develop a highly interactive site to share information and promote exchange among experts. This will allow us to reach a wider audience including NESDA members, decision makers, the donor community and eventually the private sector. This project is funded by USAID AfricaLink.
