In support of these shared objectives, USAID/Ghana cordially invites local Ghanaian organizations as well as International NGOs who have local presence and work in the Child Protection sector to attend in-person Market Day/Information sessions either in Accra or Tamale. The aim of these sessions is to highlight shared priorities in Child Protection in the hopes of expanding local partnerships.  (Dates and venue will be provided via individual invitations). REQUIREMENTS FOR SIGN-UP :

Local organizations/entities interested in attending the Market Day/Information  session must send a two-page document indicating:

  1. Name of Organization/Entity (A Cover page will not count as part of the two-page documents)
  2. Name (s) of proposed attendee(s) and email addresses
  3. Capability Statement – A statement about your organization and its capabilities and skills that advertises who you are and what you do - 1 page     
  4. Notable child protection, development and care programs implemented in the last 3 to 5 years. Include Name of Activity, Period of Performance, Brief Description, Results - 1 page
  5. Proof of status as a local entity/organization:

Per USAID regulation ADS 303.6, local entities are defined as any individual, corporation, nonprofit organization, or other body of persons that:

● Is legally organized under the laws of Ghana;

● Has its principal place of business or operation in Ghana;

● Is majority-owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of

    Ghana; and is managed by a governing body the majority of whom are citizens or lawful permanent residents of Ghana
